Many will remember America’s Got Talent veteran, eleven-year-old Sebastien de la Cruz, when he was propelled to even greater fame during the 2013 NBA Finals after singing the National Anthem before Game 3 in San Antonio. After Sebastien appeared on TV singing the Star-Spangled Banner, a slew of insensitive and racist commentary followed on Twitter. Sebastien responded with integrity and a determination to not let those shallow comments affect him.
