Sebastian de la Cruz Sings National Anthem at NASL Soccer Game

Many will remember America’s Got Talent veteran, eleven-year-old Sebastien de la Cruz, when he was propelled to even greater fame during the 2013 NBA Finals after singing the National Anthem before Game 3 in San Antonio. After Sebastien appeared on TV singing the Star-Spangled Banner, a slew of insensitive and racist commentary followed on Twitter. Sebastien responded with integrity and a determination to not let those shallow comments affect him. SAN ANTONIO — The Detroit shock went up two games to one in the five-game WNBA Finals series tonight as they beat the San Antonio Silver Stars 69 – 61 in San Antonio. The Shock’s Katie Smith posted 22 points on the night to lead her team to victory in the Alamo City.
